Our morning coffee break. This Starbuck's is new since the last time we were here with Sadie.
Our trip into a Guangzhou neighborhood.
Our rep Molly (back to camera) doing her best to flag a taxi down. She spent most of her time standing in the middle of this intersection.
Emily & Henry making faces while waiting for a taxi. It was rush hour so the streets and sidewalks were full of people. Many were fierce competitors in the battle to get a taxi.
Success! After over 20 minutes we finally suckered someone into picking us up. The safety regulations in the cab states that only "ladies and children are permitted to ride in the front." Sadie opted to sit with Erik.
Henry spotted this advertisement on the back of the seat. It is of a white woman with two Chinese children. We have no idea what the ad is for but in his current view of the world he looked at it and said "Mama!" He took this photo.
Back at the White Swan with Molly.
Tomorrow we go to the US Consulate and swear our oath to become a family!

The four of you look like you are having such a great time together! Henry's personality really shines through. We can't wait to meet him. Ava is really (and I mean really) ready for Sadie to come home. We miss you guys and can't wait to see you all soon!
Wow, the stories about Guangzhou really bring back some memories! Besides the Starbucks, everything sounds the same. Even Jordon seems to be right in the expected position for stalking. It is great to get a peek at the fun you four are having!
We look forward to arrival home, and Naomi and I hope you will be coming back to class! Things have gotten dull there for her without Sadie. She has actually had to resort to paying attention.
Looks like you are already a family to me! I wondered about that starbucks. I didn't remember it either, but have heard so many people talk about it since we were in china in 2006. I thought I had missed something grande! I agree on the comment on Jordan - right in position! I'm surprised though that he didn't come down the walkway further to pull you in sooner! :) Enjoy your last few days there!
