We are in the final phases of our second adoption and wanted to give everyone (anyone?) out there a heads up that we'll be traveling in a few months to meet and bring home our son, Henry.
We take his picture with us just about anywhere.
Sadie first saw his picture after getting the referral email. She was immediately proud of her new baby brother.
We set to work on getting his room ready. Sadie never passes up an opportunity to paint. The color is really an apple green.
Since the referral, Sadie has felt a range of emotions including astonishment.
Frustration.
Ennui.
Sadness.
But mostly happiness.
We'll update soon to give you a little more information and progress reports as the Herbivores go (back) to China!

Congrats! Henry is adorable.
Welcome back Herbivores! Sadie is such a big girl now! And Henry....ahhh Henry. He looks like a fine young man. Quite handsome, yet goofy silly at the same time. Great combo.
I'm so very happy for you guys. I can't wait to follow along with you on this journey!

Congratulations! I can't wait to follow along again. Good to see photos of Sadie too as I am not working with Wendy in GA anymore and don't see them as often. Also, I love the apple green -- my daughter Emma's bedroom in Athens was that color (see was 1-7 yrs old there and we never got tired of it).
Athens GA is glad to see the Herbivores blogging again. Love the range of Sadie emotions. And Henry. Oh Henry! What a handsome lad. Can't wait to learn more about him.
恭喜你!
Looking forward to reading more about your new family member.
Huge congratulations! Henry is adorable! And Sadie is so big! Love her look of frustration. Let me just say it will likely continue! (Along with the other looks too...)
Yippee! I've been hoping for this for you three - now four! Let's celebrate with pancakes at the dome...
OMG, what a wonderful email to come home to!!!!! what a sweet face. If you ask Piper she will tell you that little brothers are the worst of times and the best of times. How awesome they will have each other and that both of them will have you guys as parents.
